Job Title: Delivery Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Delivery Manager to oversee daily delivery operations and optimize route performance. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient scheduling, manage delivery personnel, maintain high customer satisfaction, and continuously improve operational efficiency while meeting safety and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and optimize daily delivery routes.
- Supervise and support delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Monitor route performance, productivity, and KPIs.
- Resolve delivery issues, customer concerns, and scheduling conflicts promptly.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules and monitor fleet readiness.
- Train, coach, and evaluate delivery staff.
- Analyze delivery routes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with warehouse, customer service, and operations teams to ensure consistent scheduling and deliveries.
- Manage driver schedules, timekeeping.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in supply chain, or business is an asset.
- 3+ years of experience in delivery, transportation, logistics, or route management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with routing software, Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn new software systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
