Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages.
- Manage multiple orders simultaneously with effective time management skills to ensure prompt service.
- Uphold food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment that promotes hospitality.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing tabs.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
