Burin Construction Inc. is seeking candidates for one full-time employe. Ideal candidate will be interested in building their knowledge of the trade and working in a small team.
Primary Duties:
Perform finish and trim carpentry work accurately and accordingly to plans and specifications.
Installation of hardware and millwork for, interior trim, mantels, handrails, shelving, and etc.
Troubleshoot, analyze and repair site issues with building components and equipment.
Observe and comply with all applicable OH&S Safety Regulations on each worksite.
Skills:
Have working knowledge and understanding of carpentry related tools, both power and hand.
Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as problem-solving skills.
Use of site scaffolding or ladders as needed.
Be physically able to perform various job site tasks as well as lifting equipment and materials up to 50lbs.
Reliable daily transportation.
Assets may include:
WHIMS, CSTS, First Aid certifications.
Own basic hand tools, also own carpenters pouch. (Others not required as tools are also provided)
Salary Expectations:
Focusing on new residential homes throughout the Edmonton area, Burin Construction Inc. Is offering a competitive wage based on experience between $18-$30 per hour.
There is no option to sign apprenticeship book. Or to get apprenticeship.
