Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine job requirements.
Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDM equipment.
Fabricate, assemble, fit, and adjust tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to exact specifications.
Inspect completed tools and dies using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of existing tools and dies to minimize downtime.
Modify tools and dies to improve performance or adapt to new production requirements.
Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
Follow all workplace safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
