Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in using various tools and equipment to assemble and fit components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
Duties
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine assembly requirements.
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise fitting of components.
- Assemble parts using power tools, welding techniques, and plasma cutting as necessary.
- Perform welding tasks to join metal parts securely and effectively.
- Operate cranes for lifting heavy materials and components during the fitting process.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools and welding equipment.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
