Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Sandblaster/Painter to join our manufacturing team. This role involves preparing and finishing metal components through sandblasting and painting processes, ensuring high-quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge, experience with hand and power tools, and a strong understanding of safety protocols in an industrial environment. Duties
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces of metal parts for painting or coating.
- Apply paint, coatings, or finishes using spray guns, brushes, or rollers with precision and attention to detail.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools as needed for surface preparation and finishing tasks.
- Assist with assembly and machining processes when required, supporting overall production workflows.
- Follow safety procedures related to the use of crane, forklift, and other heavy machinery to ensure a safe work environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety standards.
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements and mixing paints or coatings accurately.
- Adhere to lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste during production processes.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools.
- Familiarity with crane operation and forklift handling is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to industrial sandblasting and painting operations.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and mixing ratios accurately.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Experience with assembly processes and familiarity with machining techniques is advantageous.

Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour
