Role Summary
This role supports both denture production (with a focus on repairs and relines) and front-line customer experience. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality denture repairs/relines while also acting as a key point of contact for clients and patients. The goal is simple: excellent technical outcomes + clear, professional communication + smooth case flow.
This is a hands-on execution role that requires someone who is organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable switching between lab work and client-facing responsibilities based on daily priorities.
Key Responsibilities
1) Denture Repairs, Relines and Technical Production
- Complete denture repairs and relines (partial and full) with strong attention to fit, function, and aesthetics.
- Able to fabricate full and partial dentures, including: setting teeth, waxing, finishing, processing (as assigned).
- Complete related prosthetic steps including: occlusal rims, custom trays, and other denture support tasks as needed.
- Ensure all dentures and appliances meet Milident quality control standards before delivery.
- Accurately document work completed through required forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Participate in cross-training and provide support in other lab areas when required.
2) Customer Success and Client Communication
- Serve as a professional, friendly first point of contact for clients and patients.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and route calls/messages to the right team members.
- Provide case status updates and communicate timelines clearly and consistently.
- Support clinical communication as required, including custom shade coordination (based on instructions and protocols).
- Schedule patient appointments and support patient-facing coordination when needed.
3) Case Coordination, Logistics and Admin Support
- Support shipping and receiving, including package tracking and coordination.
- Assist with case preparation, intake, and ensuring cases are complete and ready for production.
- Track case progress through internal systems and help maintain smooth workflow.
- Support production reporting and basic operational tracking.
- Assist with invoicing, and general administrative processing.
- Help maintain inventory basics.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including general housekeeping.
Requirements and Skills
- Experience as a denture technician (or relevant dental lab experience), especially with repairs and relines, is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak confidently with dentists, clinics, and patients.
- Comfortable handling multiple priorities and switching between technical work and customer-facing tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and documentation.
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented with a willingness to learn and cross-train.
