We’re hiring for our client an experienced Class AZ driver for local container drayage in the GTA. You’ll move 40’ high-cube containers from port and rail terminals to Amazon fulfillment centres and back. Most runs are local - you’re home every day.
This is company-driver work: we provide the truck, insurance, and cover all trip-related expenses. You just drive.
What you’ll do
- Pick up and deliver 40’ high-cube containers between intermodal terminals and Amazon FCs
- Work in and out of GTA rail terminals (CN Brampton and CPKC Vaughan)
- Handle chassis hook-up and container transfers safely
- Manage terminal gate and appointment/reservation procedures
- Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
- Keep accurate logs and paperwork (ELD)
- Follow all MTO hours-of-service and safety regulations
What we’re looking for
- Valid Ontario AZ licence in good standing
- Clean driver’s abstract and clean CVOR
- [1–2]+ years verifiable AZ driving experience
- Container / drayage experience strongly preferred, including experience with GTA intermodal rail terminals (CN Brampton and CPKC Vaughan), terminal gate/appointment procedures, and chassis handling
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Reliable, safety-focused, and punctual
