Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure guest rooms and public areas are spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a positive experience for our guests and supporting the overall cleanliness of the property. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but training will be provided to the right candidate.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as needed
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces to maintain a high level of cleanliness
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as assigned
- Ensure all areas are organized and free of clutter to promote safety and efficiency
Experience
- Custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for candidates eager to learn
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork and guest service
Pay: $16.75 per hour
