Position Overview
We’re seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about renewable energy, confident in communicating with clients, and driven to close deals. You’ll educate homeowners and businesses about the benefits of solar, prepare system proposals, and guide customers through the sales process—from first contact to contract signing.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with potential customers through in-person visits, phone calls, or online leads
- Assess customer energy needs and roof/site conditions (training provided)
- Prepare and present customized solar proposals and financial savings analyses
- Follow up with prospects, overcome objections, and close sales
- Coordinate with the design and installation teams to ensure project success
- Maintain accurate records of leads, quotes, and closed deals in CRM
- Stay up to date with solar technologies, incentives, and rebate programs in BC
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales (solar, roofing, electrical, or home improvement preferred)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Basic computer proficiency (CRM, Microsoft Office, or similar tools)
- Knowledge of solar energy systems is an asset (training provided)
