Casual Childcare Assistant Needed
Little Wonders Early Learning & Care is looking for a caring, reliable, and energetic Casual Childcare Assistant to join our home-based childcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children in play and learning activities.
- Assist with daily routines, including snacks, meals, and outdoor play.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Support children's social, emotional, and developmental needs.
Requirements:
- Genuine love for working with children.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous childcare experience is an asset but not required.
This is a casual, on-call position with flexible hours to cover staff absences, appointments, vacations, and busy days.
