Are you an Athletic Therapist looking to join a collaborative, patient-focused team?
We are seeking a motivated Certified Athletic Therapist to join our busy, multidisciplinary clinic in North Bay, Ontario. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care, injury assessment, and rehabilitation services within a dynamic clinical environment. You'll work alongside an experienced team that includes Chiropractors, Registered Kinesiologist and Registered Massage Therapist, where collaboration leads to the best possible patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- Assess, treat and rehabilitate a variety of musculoskeletal injuries; both acute and chronic in nature.
- Develop individualized rehabiliation plans.
- Collaborate and communicate closely with other healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes.
- Provide injury prevention and ergonomic recommendations.
- Maintain detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes for ongoing evaluation.
- Possess strong time management skills and organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a busy clinical schedule.
Requirements
- Certified Athletic Therapist with relevant licensure or registration.
- Values collaboration and team-based care.
- Passionate about helping others recover and optimize their health.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
You'll work with varied and rewarding patient caseloads, including:
- Competitive and recreational athletes;
- Weekend warriors;
- Seniors;
- Children and adolescents;
- Individuals of all abilities and activity levels.
What We Offer
- No weekend hours.
- No overhead expenses - we provide all the necesssary equipement and tools you will need to provide quality care (including but not limited to: hot packs, ice packs, weights, therapy balls, lotion, cross-friction tools, resistance bands, foam roller, etc).
- Access to a variety of modalities to assist with recovery, including shockwave therapy, low level laser therapy, ultrasound therapy.
- Busy case load with patient's waiting for treatment.
- Receptionist handles patient booking, payments.
