We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to the job sites in a timely manner. This position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to follow directions and a valid driver’s license. The ideal candidate will also have experience with delivering custom furniture, route planning and navigation, as well as knowledge of local traffic laws.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
- Safely transport custom cabinets from our workshop to designated project sites.
- Load and unload millwork from the vehicle.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a furniture delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment, perform manual labor as required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
