Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Pest Control Technician who is looking to join a growing team and contribute to a positive work environment. This role involves inspecting, treating, and preventing pest issues across residential homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service. Prior experience in pest management or related fields is a plus, but comprehensive training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop specialized skills in pest control while contributing to the health and safety of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest activity and entry points
- Apply appropriate treatments using various pest control products and techniques
- Use hand tools, power tools, and effectively for treatment applications
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, treatments, and follow-up visits
- Educate clients on pest prevention methods and answer any questions they may have
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of equipment at job sites
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery
Experience
- Prior experience with customer service is required
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, or similar equipment is beneficial
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments
- Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry best practices
- REQUIRES: Ontario Structural Exterminators License
