We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Glass Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring glass processing machinery to cut, grind, polish, temper, or fabricate glass products according to production specifications while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Set up and operate glass processing machines.
- Load and unload glass sheets safely.
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as required.
- Measure and inspect glass products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and technical drawings.
- Identify and report defects or equipment malfunctions.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Package finished glass products for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including proper handling of glass materials.
- Perform other production duties as assigned.
- Previous experience operating glass processing machinery or manufacturing equipment is preferred.
- Ability to read measuring tools and production drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Steel-toe safety shoes and other required PPE are mandatory.
