Pay: $25.00–$33.00 per hour
At Social Connections ABA Therapy Inc., we are passionate about supporting children and families in meaningful, respectful, and engaging ways. We provide high-quality Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) services to children and youth with autism, with a focus on building communication, social, and daily living skills through positive, play-based interactions.
We believe that therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and empowering, for both the children we serve and the team members who support them.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Instructor Therapist / Behaviour Therapist to join our team. This role includes providing 1:1 and small group ABA therapy across our Grimsby and Thorold locations (travel required), as well as in-home and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct ABA therapy using evidence-based strategies (e.g., NET, DTT)
- Implement individualized behaviour intervention plans (BIPs) and skill-building programs
- Collect and track data on client progress and behaviours
- Collaborate closely with a BCBA/Clinical Supervisor and families
- Support assessments, goal development, and parent coaching
- Prepare engaging, individualized therapy materials
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming therapy environment
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Brings warmth, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Has experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or in ABA settings
- Demonstrates knowledge of ABA principles and behaviour strategies
- Has strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Is playful, energetic, and able to build meaningful connections through play
- Works well both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Autism & Behavioural Science program (preferred)
