Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup: Prepare flexographic presses, including loading substrates, aniloxes, print heads, installing printing plates, and setting up ink colors.
- Operational Control: Run 6 color presses, ensuring proper ink distribution, color matching using visual and software, and registration (image alignment).
- Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections of materials for defects throughout the production run.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Identify root cause of printing defects and perform corrective actions. Perform daily, weekly, or monthly cleaning and lubrication; address mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations,
- Experience: Preferably 1-3 years of experience with flexographic printing.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of inks, substrates, aniloxes and prepress, including color mixing and viscosity. Use of color measuring software. Excellent mechanical aptitude
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials (e.g., 30+ lbs.), and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to follow strict job specifications and color requirements.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; technical school training is a plus.

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
