Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our dynamic team. Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
- Manage cash transactions using POS systems like Micros POS, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in inventory management
- Follow all food safety regulations and uphold high standards of hygiene throughout service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally, striving for excellent customer service
Skills
- Proven experience in food industry or restaurant environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing purposes
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
