Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cell Phone Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mobile devices, operating systems, and hardware components, with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of issues efficiently. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various mobile devices including smartphones and tablets.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Perform repairs on device screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, and internal components using hand tools
- Test repaired devices to ensure proper functionality across operating systems such as Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows
- Assist customers in retail sales by explaining repair options and providing technical advice
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
- Follow safety procedures when handling electronic components and working with delicate hardware
- Keep work area organized and ensure all tools are properly maintained
Qualifications
- Proven experience repairing mobile devices or related electronics preferred
- Strong knowledge of operating systems including Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for delicate repairs
- Excellent analysis skills to identify issues quickly and accurately
- Experience with software troubleshooting for mobile devices is a plus
- Retail sales experience is beneficial but not required
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills are essential
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality in repairs
