The CNE will provide Collegial Guidance to help or advise colleagues or peers with a shared responsibility for operational/business needs. The CNE will coach/mentor staff and provide guidance and support/advice to other team members. The CNE will provide functional supervision by providing leadership and direction to staff and/or contractors to ensure daily operational requirements are met without formal reporting relationships.
Description:
As an Instructor, you will be an expert practitioner and key educator in support of both nursing staff and the multi-disciplinary clinical team. You will take a leadership role in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of education for nursing staff including orientation, compulsory and continuing education, and clinical development. You will collaborate with management and internal partners to promote standards of clinical, educational and evidence informed practice. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of Recovery Alberta.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year experience as a CNE. Hand hygiene certification, ITLS/DTR Instructor, Certified eSIM facilitator, certified in respiratory FIT testing, PACES/SPRAM.
Preferred Qualifications:
ITLS-DTR, Master's Degree.
