Based in beautiful Peace River, Alberta, you'll serve as the sales leader for five hotel properties throughout the region. You'll be the face of our hotels in the community, building relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, sports teams, contractors, tour operators, and organizations that need exceptional accommodations and meeting spaces.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Sales Manager to join our team based in Peace River, Alberta.
This is a unique opportunity to lead sales efforts across five Stonecrest Hotel properties while being based at our Peace River location. You'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening existing client relationships, coordinating group and event bookings, and driving revenue growth throughout the region.
The ideal candidate is a relationship builder, strategic thinker, and hospitality professional who understands how strong partnerships translate into long-term success.
What You'll Do
Business Development & Sales
Develop and execute regional sales strategies across five hotel properties
Identify and secure new corporate, government, industrial, tourism, and group business opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and community partners
Conduct regular sales calls, presentations, networking events, and property tours
Represent Stonecrest Hotels at industry events, trade shows, and community functions
Group Bookings & Events
Manage group reservations, meetings, conferences, crew accommodations, and special events
Prepare proposals, contracts, and rate agreements
Work closely with hotel operations teams to ensure seamless event execution and guest satisfaction
Identify opportunities to maximize occupancy and meeting space revenue
Foster long-term client relationships that generate repeat business
Collaborate with General Managers across all five properties to achieve occupancy and revenue goals
Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and emerging business opportunities
Provide regular sales forecasts, reporting, and performance updates
Support marketing initiatives and community engagement efforts throughout the region
What Success Looks Like In Your First 90 Days
Build relationships with leadership teams across all five properties
Develop an understanding of each hotel's market, client base, and opportunities
Meet key community stakeholders and existing clients
Review current sales performance and booking trends
Establish a strategic sales plan focused on regional growth
Within Your First Year
Increase group, corporate, and event revenue across the portfolio
Expand Stonecrest Hotels' presence within Northern Alberta business communities
Develop new strategic partnerships that generate measurable revenue growth
Improve client retention and repeat business opportunities
Become a trusted resource for sales, events, and business development across the organization
What We're Looking For
Experience in hotel sales, hospitality, business development, or a related field
Proven ability to generate new business and build long-term client relationships
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Experience coordinating group bookings, meetings, or events is considered an asset
Ability to travel between properties as required
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and passionate about hospitality
Must have your own vehicle to travel between properties
Must have a valid permit to work

55,000.00 Base Pay plus Commission
