Job Summary:
The Senior Sandwich Artist is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing high-quality food products, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting daily restaurant operations. This role assists with training team members, supervising shifts, and ensuring Subway operational standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide exceptional service.
- Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to Subway standards.
- Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Operate the POS system and handle cash, debit, and credit transactions.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Train and mentor new team members.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.
- Support management in daily operations and shift supervision.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Previous Subway experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Leadership and team training experience is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
