Description
Giant Wholesale Distributors Ltd. is looking to recruit a full time Shipper/Receiver for their busy warehouse in Ottawa (Nepean). The position includes a competitive salary, paid vacation, and a group benefits plan upon successful completion of the probation period.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Accept incoming deliveries; - Verify product received; - Stock shelves; - Pack outgoing orders; - Work closely with warehouse supervisor to ensure ongoing accuracy of inventory counts; - Ensure that all warehouse & front areas are clean/tidy and organized at all times; - Other duties as assigned by management.
Hours of work: Mondays to Thursdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Fridays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work either independently, or as an active team member, in addition to effectively managing his/her own time throughout the work day.
Strong communication skills in the english language (both written and verbal) are essential for this position.
