We are a team-oriented architectural practice seeking a full-time Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our firm. The successful candidate will become a key member of our administrative team and will be responsible for a variety of tasks and initiatives essential to successful business operation.

Our design approach is characterized by rigour and collaboration. These values extend to all areas of practice including the administrative and financial areas in which the Receptionist / Administrative Assistant will participate.
Our 50+ member team works in a bright, spacious, open-concept studio in the heart of vibrant, eclectic Mount Pleasant.
What You’ll Do
- Be the welcoming face of the office—manage reception, calls, deliveries, and daily office operations
- Keep the office running seamlessly by overseeing facilities, supplies, and service providers
- Coordinate meetings, travel, and team events
- Maintain organized and efficient filing systems, databases, and archives
- Provide administrative support across operations, marketing, finance, and leadership
- Support project teams with documentation, tracking, and contract administration tasks
- Help manage project records and correspondence (RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, etc.)
- Assist with permit documentation and ensure compliance requirements are met
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in an office environment (experience in architecture, engineering, or construction is an asset)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in both Mac and PC environments and quickly learn new systems
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Salary is commensurate with experience.
