Position Summary
The Rebate Analyst is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing rebates for TIM-BR MART Ltd and ensuring that the rebates are in accordance with established company agreements. The Rebate Analyst is responsible for recording, reconciling and distributing rebates to TIM-BR MART members.
Description of Responsibilities
The Rebate Analyst plans, organizes, directs, controls and evaluates the following portfolio of
responsibilities, in a cost-efficient, sustainable and ethical manner aimed at promoting the best interest of
TIMBER MART and its members, in increasing the Group’s productivity, profitability and competitiveness and
in supporting its corporative interest and commercial advancement.
- Management of the rebate process.
- Development and maintenance of spreadsheets for rebates.
- Interpret contracts for rebate payments.
- Reconciliation of supplier rebate programs.
- Management of financial transactions for rebates.
- Notify and report to senior management any concerns about rebates that are critical to Timber Mart.
- Respond to general requests from other departments for analysis and reports.
Qualifications
- College Accounting Diploma or equivalent Accounting experience
- 3-5 years of accounting and financial analysis experience
- Intermediate level French language skills an asset
