About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Sports Cards and TCG Collectibles Expert to join our growing team. This role requires a deep understanding of the sports card and TCG markets, including grading, valuation, and market trends. In addition to your expertise in collectibles, you will be instrumental in developing and executing our social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, engage our community, and drive sales.
This is a unique opportunity to blend your passion for collecting with your digital marketing skills. You will be responsible for sourcing, and marketing a wide range of collectible items, while also creating compelling content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
Key Responsibilities
Collectibles Expertise:
Source, identify, and authenticate sports cards and TCG products.
Accurately appraise the value of collectibles based on market trends, condition, and rarity.
Stay up-to-date with the latest releases, news, and pricing in the sports card and.TCG industries.
Manage inventory, including cataloging and condition assessment.
Assist in the buying and selling process of high-value items.
Social Media Management:
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy.
Create engaging and high-quality content (photos, videos, graphics, written posts) for various social media platforms.
Manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring engagement.
Build and nurture our online community, fostering positive interactions.
Analyze social media performance metrics and provide regular reports.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall business goals.
Qualifications
Proven experience and deep knowledge of the sports cards and TCG collectibles market (e.g., Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lorcana, Hockey Cards Baseball Cards, Basketball Cards, Football Cards).
Demonstrated success in managing and growing social media accounts.
Excellent content creation skills (photography, videography, graphic design, copywriting).
Strong understanding of social media best practices and analytics.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for collectibles and a genuine enthusiasm for engaging with the community.

Experience with grading services
Experience with Card Shows
Existing network within the collectibles community.
Experience with e-commerce platforms. (Ebay, Shopify)
