We are currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner professional to join a global Tier 1 automotive manufacturer in Windsor, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established organization where you can make a meaningful impact across all areas of human resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and interpret the collective agreement while ensuring compliance with company policies and labour legislation.
- Provide guidance and support to leaders on employee and labour relations matters.
- Manage grievances, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
- Support recruitment activities, onboarding, orientation, and employee training initiatives.
- Administer salaried employee benefits, disability management, and leave programs.
- Prepare HR metrics, KPI reports, presentations, and workforce analytics for leadership.
- Ensure compliance with Ontario employment standards, labour legislation, and company policies.
- Participate in audits and support continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures.
- Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and communication initiatives.
- Partner with managers to foster a positive, respectful, and high-performing workplace culture.
Qualifications
- University degree in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Relations, Law, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of labour relations experience within a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Experience administering and interpreting collective agreements.
- Strong understanding of Ontario employment legislation and labour relations principles.
- Experience handling grievances, investigations, and employee relations matters.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
