Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking full-time Landscaper to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving outdoor spaces across our properties. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable performing a variety of landscaping and groundskeeping tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform lawn mowing, trimming, and edging
- Maintain gardens, flower beds, shrubs, and other landscaped areas
- Plant, water, and care for flowers, trees, shrubs, and other vegetation
- Remove weeds and maintain garden beds
- Rake leaves, grass clippings, and other debris
- Assist with seasonal cleanup and preparation
- Perform basic pruning and trimming of shrubs and plants
- Maintain and clean landscaping tools and equipment
- Assist with planting and landscaping projects as directed
- Perform general groundskeeping and outdoor property upkeep
- Load, transport, and organize landscaping materials and equipment
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Perform other landscaping and general labour duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, or general labour experience is preferred
- Experience operating basic landscaping equipment is an asset
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving materials
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment is an asset
- Basic set of personal tools is considered an asset
