Pipe Layer - Victoria, BC

We are currently accepting applications for a Pipe Layer to work in the Victoria area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Connect pipes and seal joints using glue, cement, gaskets and/or flanges;
- Grade, level trench base, and back fill pipe using tamping machine and hand tools;
- Co-ordinate layout of pipe routes with drawings, and check slopes for conformance to requirements using levels and/or lasers;
- Willing to help out when needed and other labour duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision;
- 2-5 years of previous experience as a pipe layer;
- Previous experience and knowledge about the excavating industry;
- Can comprehend grading and excavating.
Qualifications
- Experience in earthworks excavation;
- No ticket required;
- This job has a requirement to use physical exertion, therefore the ideal candidate must be physically fit.

Salary Information: $38.00/hr - $45.00/hr (Depending on Experience)
