Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated IT Support Technician who acts as the frontline of our organization's IT department. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage endpoint devices, and assist internal users across the firm.
$50,000 – $55,000 CAD per annum.
This job posting represents a new and active vacancy within our firm.
This is a Fully Onsite Role. Our office is located at: 1 West Pearce Street, Suite 700, Richmond Hill, Ontario L4B 3K3) and requires five (5) days a week. Please note that this position cannot accommodate remote or hybrid work.
Role and Responsibilities

Monitor, prioritize, and respond to incoming IT tickets in a timely manner, providing Tier 1 technical support to both onsite and remote users.
- Install approved software applications, execute basic system updates, and troubleshoot standard Microsoft 365 and business application issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems to senior IT staff while documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of company hardware, peripherals, and software licenses.
- Log all incoming support requests, updating tickets with detailed troubleshooting steps and final resolution notes.
- Prepare, configure, and deploy workstations and user accounts to ensure a seamless IT setup for new hires.
- Assist with office IT equipment moves, hardware replacements, setup, and routine basic maintenance.
- Provide clear, user-friendly guidance to staff on standard software tools and IT best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Systems, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Foundational knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, and iOS/Android operating systems, plus basic TCP/IP networking concepts.
- Strong communication, customer service focus, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning and technical excellence.
