Job Overview

Duties
- Operate and monitor various types of pumps and associated equipment to facilitate fluid transfer processes.
- Conduct routine inspections of pumps, valves, gauges, and other mechanical components to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when handling equipment parts or materials required for maintenance or setup.
- Follow detailed operational procedures and safety protocols during all phases of pump operation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly, performing minor repairs or coordinating with maintenance teams as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of pump operation, maintenance activities, and any incidents or irregularities encountered during shifts.
- Assist in the setup and shutdown of pumping systems for scheduled operations or emergency responses.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand pump systems, valves, gauges, and related machinery.
- Experience working within the oil & gas industry or similar heavy industrial environments.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling of equipment parts or materials.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently in demanding conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety compliance and operational accuracy.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report operational status clearly.
