Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and proficiency with hand and power tools. The Mechanic will play a vital role in minimizing downtime and supporting the smooth functioning of our operations. We specialize in B620 tank inspections, repairs, modification, and assembly.
Duties
- Perform B620 inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems to restore equipment functionality
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during maintenance tasks
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used in maintenance logs
- Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical problems to identify root causes
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and maintenance schedules
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in maintaining industrial or mechanical equipment
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience using power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills for documenting work and collaborating with colleagues
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred but not required
Pay: $23.76-$50.00 per hour
