HR & Office Operations Generalist
For our new office in Vancouver Canada, we are looking for someone who likes to do it all.
Office Operations
-
Oversee all day-to-day office management activities.

Manage relationships with building management, vendors, and service providers.

Coordinate office space planning, supplies, equipment, and workplace services.

Manage local office budgets and expenses.

Ensure the office is professional, welcoming, and aligned with company standards.

Support business continuity and operational readiness for the office.
People & Employee Experience
-
Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees in Canada.

Build trusted relationships across the organization and maintain a strong understanding of employee sentiment and team dynamics.

Identify and proactively surface employee engagement, morale, retention, or culture concerns.

Partner with managers and HR leadership to address employee relations issues and workplace challenges.

Help ensure employees and managers are operating in accordance with company values and behavioral standards.

Facilitate onboarding and integration of new hires.
Culture & Engagement

Organize office events, celebrations, volunteer activities, team-building initiatives, and leadership visits.

Create opportunities to strengthen collaboration, community, and employee engagement.

Gather informal employee feedback and provide thoughtful insights to leadership.

Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture.
What We're Looking For
-
5+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Employee Experience, Office Management, or a related role.

Experience operating independently in a startup, scale-up, or small-office environment.

Strong employee relations instincts and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build credibility quickly.

Sound judgment and the confidence to address difficult situations professionally.

Strong organizational and project management capabilities.

Comfortable navigating ambiguity and balancing competing priorities.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Experience within a technology company is preferred.
