We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Registered Acupuncturist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a practitioner who is passionate about supporting patients through a comprehensive and integrative approach to health, with interests in hormonal health, stress management, skin health, pain management, and overall wellness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and health assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and health history
- Provide high-quality acupuncture treatments with attention to patient comfort and safety
- Perform supportive therapies such as cupping and facial acupuncture where appropriate
- Educate patients on treatment plans, aftercare, and wellness-focused lifestyle support
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records through Jane App EMR
- Collaborate with other healthcare practitioners to support comprehensive patient care
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professionalism within treatment areas
- Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and infection control standards
- Stay informed on current acupuncture techniques and continuing education opportunities
Qualifications
- Registered Acupuncturist in good standing in British Columbia
- Previous clinical experience preferred, though motivated new graduates are welcome to apply
- Training or interest in facial acupuncture and cosmetic-focused treatments is considered an asset
- Experience with cupping and additional TCM modalities preferred
- Strong understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine principles and acupuncture practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary clinic environment
