We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various automotive issues. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks according to high quality standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and computer systems
- Conduct inspections and tests to identify worn or damaged parts
- Assemble, disassemble, and reassemble vehicle components as needed
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete repairs
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repair options
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in automotive repair techniques and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
