Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering excellent food service to our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure health standards are met
- Assist with cleaning and organizing kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment
- Support the team during busy service periods by managing multiple tasks effectively
- Ensure all food products are stored correctly and inventory is maintained accurately
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experience to guests
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if needed
- Basic understanding of serving and customer service principles is a plus but not required
