Gas / Industrial Maintenance Technician
We are hiring a Gas / Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair gas systems, appliances, and related equipment. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical experience, solid troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer service. This role is well suited for someone who can work independently, respond effectively to service calls, and complete all work in compliance with applicable safety standards and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service and repair gas systems including various appliances, and associated equipment.
- Inspect gas systems thoroughly to identify safety risks, performance issues, and required repairs.
- Complete all work in compliance with local codes, company standards, and safety regulations.
- Communicate clearly with customers about system condition, service findings, and recommended solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and service observations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to improve efficiency, service quality, and workplace safety.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong knowledge of digester gas systems, appliances, and safety procedures.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability.
- Proven troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Strong communication skills for working effectively with customers and team members.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to safe, quality workmanship.
- Physical ability to perform installation, maintenance, and repair work in a field environment.
- G2 Gas License is required
