A-1 Wireless Inc. is a Mississauga-based electronics lifecycle and refurbishment company specializing in the procurement, refurbishment, and distribution of pre-owned mobile devices across North America. We operate a structured, multi-stage refurbishment workflow that includes device intake, diagnostics, repair routing, quality assurance, grading, kitting, and final dispatch. Our operations are designed to ensure consistent quality control and traceability across all devices processed through our facility.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mobile Devices Kitting & Quality Control Associate to join our refurbishment operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the final-stage preparation of devices prior to shipment, including cosmetic grading, accessory matching, kit assembly, labeling, and final quality verification. This position requires strong attention to detail, consistency in applying grading standards, and the ability to work within a high-volume, quality-controlled electronics environment.
Candidates with prior experience in device refurbishment, QA inspection, electronics processing, or structured warehouse kitting environments are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Day shift only: MON-THU 9 AM- 6 PM, FRIDAYS 9 AM - 4 PM

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive devices cleared by the Processing team and validate readiness for kitting workflow entry
- Perform detailed cleaning of mobile devices including screens, housings, ports, buttons, and camera modules, to meet presentation standards
- Apply standardized cosmetic grading based on defined internal QA criteria
- Accurately record and update device grade information in internal tracking systems
- Match devices with correct accessories (chargers, cables, SIM trays, packaging components) based on work order and channel requirements
- Assemble complete customer-ready kits, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all components
- Apply SKU labels, barcodes, and grade identifiers with full accuracy and verify against packing documentation
- Conduct final quality inspection of each kitted unit before sealing and release
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient workstation conditions at all times
- Record daily output, highlight discrepancies, and report shortages or variances to the Supervisor
- Coordinate with Processing and Inventory teams to ensure a smooth workflow transition
- Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock reconciliation activities
- Follow all company SOPs, quality standards, and health & safety procedures
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–4 years of experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
Canada
- Strong understanding of cosmetic grading or condition assessment of consumer electronics is an asset
- Familiarity with smartphones and tablets (Apple, Samsung, Google, etc.) is strongly preferred
- Ability to identify visible defects such as screen wear, housing damage, battery condition, and port functionality issues
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in applying defined standards
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, process-driven environment
- Basic computer literacy; experience with barcode scanning or warehouse systems is an asset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
