Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Station Manager to oversee daily operations at our retail location. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, and pricing strategies.
- Manage POS systems, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase store visibility and sales growth.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, policies, and performance expectations.
- Monitor sales performance and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage budgets, payroll processing, and administrative tasks related to store operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and health standards.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and professional development.
Skills
- Proven leadership experience in retail management or supervisory roles with strong team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customers and staff.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and basic math skills.
- Experience in merchandising, pricing strategies, sales management, marketing, and store operations.
- Ability to recruit, train, develop staff members through effective training & development programs.
- Sound negotiation skills for purchasing and vendor relations.
- Budgeting experience along with familiarity in administrative tasks such as payroll processing.
- Leadership qualities including motivation, problem-solving capabilities, and strategic thinking.
