Based out of Burnaby, other areas in the Lower Mainland or BC Interior, Calgary, or Edmonton, you’ll join our Aquatics Team and work as part of multidisciplinary project teams to contribute directly to the baseline environmental planning, permitting, and construction efforts of government and privately owned infrastructure projects throughout Western Canada. As an Intermediate Aquatics Biologist, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring field crews for surveys supporting all project phases from permitting, baseline assessments, construction, and post-construction monitoring.
This position will start in the spring with an anticipated 80% of travel for fieldwork and 20% office work. A successful offer will be full-time or a 12-month contract depending on workload and/or skillset. Contracts have the potential of extension or conversion to full-time.
Required safety training and personal protective equipment will be provided by Jacobs.
