Part Time Childcare Worker

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday
Administer and direct programs and services for the children of chemically dependent women:
To provide a variety of delivery methodologies designed to meet the children’s needs including: Structured and unstructured play, Identification and targeted remediation of developmental delays in motor, self-help, and cognitive skills.
Referral to other service providers and resources where appropriate.
Restrictions: The successful applicant will possess a University degree in an appropriate discipline or a college diploma in Childcare Worker/Early Childhood Educator and current membership in an approved professional regulatory association. The incumbent will be knowledgeable and experienced with all duties related to their role. The incumbent will occasionally be required to attend meetings outside of regular work hours and at off-site locations.
Proficiency in both English and French is considered an asset. Qualified candidates with French language proficiency will be given preference.
Pay: $19.84-$20.86 per hour
