Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques.
Location: Montreal (Anjou), QC
Salary: Starting at $24.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-time | Monday to Friday | 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Start Date: Immediate
Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication of sheet metal components according to drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Assemble metal components using appropriate fabrication techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
