About the role
Event Planning & Lifecycle Management

Own the full event lifecycle. From sourcing, approval, and contracting through execution and post-event follow-up across B2B and B2C formats including building launches, community gatherings, sponsorships, and networking events

Research andidentifynew event opportunities across Alberta and Canada;maintaina master event calendar with pricing, registration dates, and key milestones

Manage the external Brand Ambassador programand coordinate with the Finance team on vendor registration, payment terms, and per diem budgets

Manage all collateral production and delivery; coordinate with the Graphic Designer on physical assets, in-building materials, and apparel
Outreach & Sales Alignment

Brief Account Executives (AE) on event objectives; share delegate lists and collect post-event feedback on ROI and sponsorship value

Manage on-site setup, direct team members, and support AEs in conversations with prospective clients
Post-Event Reporting & Budget Management

Distribute leads to vertical directors

Use ZoomInfo to enrich delegate lists; compile an annual report on total event spend, ROI, and performance metrics

Work within defined budgets, source deals creatively, ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, and develop guerrilla events that get people talking about Moby
Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Self-starter with strong ownership mentality, you don’t wait to be told what to do.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced, small business environment.

Deep understanding of how events drive sales pipelines and support marketing goals.

Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset so we can make better data-informed decisions.

Quick to take initiative and you always have a Plan A, B, and C.

Comfortable working hands-on with physical assets, collateral, and DIY setup when required.

Willingness to learn and embrace new technologies.
Qualifications
-
3–5 years; experience as an Event Coordinator or Event Planner.

Certification and/or degree in Marketing, Event Management, or Project Management.

Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp or similar).

Experience with CRM or lead tracking tools; familiarity with ZoomInfo is an asset.

Experience managing budgets and working with finance teams on vendor payments.
