Under the supervision of the Community Mental Health Team Leader, provides vocational rehabilitation opportunities to individuals with a serious and persistent mental illness and works as a member of an inter-disciplinary team across programs.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, 08:00 to 16:00 (rotating)
- Diploma in Human Services field with completion of courses in Rehabilitation Theory, Marketing and Job Coaching.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience working with individuals with a disability.
- Or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license.
- Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to assess client vocational needs.
- Ability to organize workload.
- Ability to work with the public.
