The Ideal Candidate:

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist retail customers with enthusiasm and product knowledge
- Fulfill online orders with care and accuracy
- Respond to customer inquiries via email in a friendly, professional manner
- Keep the retail space tidy, stocked, and beautifully merchandised
- Tag, fold, and prepare new apparel and giftware for the retail floor
- Assist in counting, organizing, and packing wholesale orders as needed
Assets:
- Knowledge of Northwest Coast Indigenous art, culture, and design
- Experience in retail and customer service
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A genuine interest in working with an Indigenous-owned brand.
The current required schedule is Tuesday (or Wednesday) to Saturday, with the possibility of additional hours based on workload and seasonal demand.
Detailed Job Description:
- Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
- Serves customers by helping them select products.
- Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
- Responds to customers’ questions.
- Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters.
- Provides outstanding customer service.
- Fills online orders from website.
- Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
- Alerts management of potential security issues.
- Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Folding, tagging and steaming garments
- Re-stocking shelves
- Dusting and sweeping
- Notifying manager of low- inventory status
- Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
