Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in delivering exceptional patient care by assisting with medication management, patient interactions, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication procedures, along with a passion for helping others in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and organizing supplies
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under pharmacist supervision
- Enter prescription data into pharmacy systems with attention to detail
- Support medication administration processes as directed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient information, and inventory logs
- Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth pharmacy operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience as a pharmacy technician or in patient care roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and safety standards
- Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and procedures

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
