Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Worker to join our manufacturing team. This role involves preparing products for shipment by efficiently packaging items while maintaining high quality standards. The ideal candidate will have some warehouse or manufacturing experience and possess mechanical aptitude to handle various tools and equipment. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in assembly, packaging, and warehouse operations within a dynamic environment.
Monday to Friday
Time- 7 am to 7 pm
Duties
- Assemble products and packaging materials according to specifications
- Operate hand tools and mechanical devices to assemble or package items
- Use forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials and finished goods
- Inspect products for quality assurance before packaging
- Label, seal, and prepare packages for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures at all times
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Skills
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environment preferred
- Mechanical knowledge to understand basic machinery operation and troubleshooting
- Ability to operate hand tools effectively
- Forklift certification or experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
- Good organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required
