SIXTREND is a growing custom furniture company, and we’re looking for a skilled Furniture Fabric Cutter / Upholsterer to join our production team. This is an on site position at our North York facility.
What you’ll do:
- Cutting and sewing fabrics for custom furniture pieces, accents, and upholstery samples.
- Create and Follow patterns and instructions accurately to ensure quality and consistency
- Upholster furniture frames with foam / fiber batting / fabric
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Communicate with our production team regarding timelines and project updates
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience with sewing, pattern handling, and fabric cutting ( 3 - 5+ years of experience)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Is self-motivated, able to multitask, and takes initiative
- Is willing to learn, ask questions and improve
- Has strong communication and problem solving skills
- Can multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
