Evergreen Industrial Supplies is an established industrial supply business serving Smithers and the surrounding Bulkley Valley.
We keep the region's trades, contractors, and weekend warriors stocked with the tools and gear they count on — brands like JET, Pioneer, Watson, 3M, Honeywell, Stihl, Toro, Blaklader, and IFR.
We're looking for an inside sales associate to join our team: someone who likes people, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in knowing their products.
What you'll do
As part of our inside sales team, you'll be the friendly, knowledgeable voice customers reach when they need the right product for the job. Day to day you'll:
- Help walk-in, phone, and email customers find exactly what they need
- Provide quotes and process orders accurately
- Source products, check availability, and follow up so nothing falls through the cracks
- Grow into a go-to expert on one or more of our product lines (JET, Pioneer, Watson, 3M, Honeywell, Can-Am, Ski-Doo, Stihl, Toro, Greenline, Blaklader, IFR, and more)
What we're looking for
- A warm, approachable manner on the phone, over email, and in person
- Strong listening skills and genuine attention to detail
- Someone punctual, reliable, and a real team player
- A valid Class 5 driver's license (a driver's abstract will be requested)
- 2+ years in customer service, inside sales, or a sales role is an asset — but we'll train the right person
- A willingness to keep learning; we'll help you build product knowledge and sales skills over time
