Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our establishment, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, strong food preparation and service skills, and the flexibility to work weekends and evening shifts (up to approximately 10:30 PM).
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, while adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist in food preparation and meal service, ensuring that all dishes meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, kitchen, and dining spaces to comply with health and safety regulations.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders accurately and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and maintain smooth operations during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, assisting in restocking as needed.
- Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our guests.
Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar, café, or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
- A passion for customer service with a friendly, positive attitude that enhances the guest experience.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be available to work weekends and evening shifts (ending at approximately 10:30 PM).
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
